Engaging resources aligned to AusVELS designed to support
healthy eating messages in the classroom.
The lesson plans incorporate Lunch Box Blitz resources to support the program’s key messages of healthy eating. The content of the lesson plans are based on the content descriptors of two learning areas in the Australian Curriculum and the AusVELS; Health and Physical Education and Design and Technologies.
Learning objectives focus on the students recognising and grouping food to make healthy snacks and lunches.
Learning objectives focus on the tools (prescribed eating and food safety guides) and sequencing of processes that enable older students to plan, prepare and store food.
